Anleitung zum Firmware-Update über USB-Speicher

1. Legen Sie auf Ihrem USB-Speicher einen Ordner "omega" an.

2. Kopieren Sie die nfr-Dateien in den Ordner "omega" in Ihrem USB-Speicher.

3. Schließen Sie den USB-Speicher an Ihrem NanoXX OMEGA HD+ an und warten Sie bis der USB-Speicher vom System erkannt wurde.

4. Danach gehen Sie in das Menü - Installation - System Service.

5. Bei "Update von Festplatte ausführen" auf die OK-Taste drücken.

6. Wählen Sie mit der gelben Taste den USB-Speicher aus und drücken Sie bei Anwahl des Ordners "omega" auf die OK-Taste. Sie sehen nun die nfr-Dateien.

7. Wählen Sie die HD+ Datei "NF_OMEGA_HD+_v2.28N+_r2550_20160510_1327.nfr" und bestätigen Sie das Update mit der roten Taste der Fernbedienung. Es wird nun die Betriebssoftware aktualisiert. Warten Sie ab, bis der OMEGA neu startet. 

8. Wenn ein Kernel oder Boot Update enthalten ist, so wird nach einem Neustart eine Meldung erscheinen, damit dieses Kernel Update durchgeführt werden kann. Bestätigen Sie die Abfrage mit "Ja" und warten Sie auch hier ab, bis das Update vollständig durchgeführt wurde und der OMEGA neu startet. 

Nach dem Neustart prüft der NanoXX OMEGA HD+ automatisch, ob eine neue Internet-Browser-Software online verfügbar ist (wenn der OMEGA Internet-Zugang hat). Falls eine Meldung am Bildschirm erscheint, bestätigen Sie dieses Update mit "Ja", damit die aktuelle Version des Internet Browsers geladen wird. Warten Sie auch hierbei ab, bis der OMEGA neu startet. 


Hinweis: Den Webbrowser öffnen Sie mit der "A..B"-Taste der Fernbedienung. Rufen Sie dann als erstes die HELP Homepage auf, indem Sie auf die gelbe Taste der Fernbedienung drücken.

How to Update Firmware-Update via USB-Storage

1. Please unzip the file into a folder omega.

2. Copy the folder "omega" to a USB memory (USB-Stick, USB-harddisk).

3. Connect the USB memory to your NanoXX OMEGA HD+ and wait until it is mounted in the system.

4. Go to menu installation - system service.

5. Choose "upgrade from harddisk" and change memory using yellow button of RCU.

6. You will see the upgrade file. Choose the file "NF_OMEGA_HD+_v2.28N+_r2550_20160510_1327.nfr" and press red button of RCU and confirm to start update.

7. Please wait until your NanoXX OMEGA HD+ restarts (Front-Display: "Restart..."). During Update procedure never power off the NanoXX OMEGA HD+!

8. If your NanoXX OMEGA HD+ does not restart automatically for longer than 3 minutes (Front-Display shows "Restart..." permanently) you can switch off and on the NanoXX OMEGA HD+ with the remote control unit (manual restart).

9. If the update contains a Kernel or Boot Update, there will appear a popup message after reboot. Please confirm this update by choosing "Yes" and OK-button and wait until OMEGA finishs and reboots. 

10. If your NanoXX OMEGA HD+ is connected to the internet a popup message will appear after restart to inform you that a new version of Internet Browser Application is ready for downloading. If you like to start downloading please confirm "Yes". Update will be done automatically.


Attention: If the update can not be done, please enter Menu - System Service and move the Cursor to "Erase channels" then press right arrow key on the remote control until "Erase Webbrowser" or "Clean up storage for update" appears, then press OK-button and confirm "Yes". An older Webbrowser-Firmware has to be erased sometimes before update is possible. Retry update from the beginning.


Usage: To start the Internet Browser Application just press "A..B"-button on the remote control. Please visit HELP page (yellow button) first. You will get many useful informations online.
